A DAY IN THE CHIANTI

This day excursion include a full immersion in the Chianti region.

We will drive you along the most authentic land of wine in Tuscany: Chianti. We will travel surrounded by the panorama of vineyards, olive trees, old farms, medieval towns. Wineries of this part of Tuscany produce one of the most famous wines in the world “Chianti”. We can include in the Chianti tour a wine tasting experience, extravirgin olive oil tastings and other local products tastings in wineries or wine companies.

The area is characterized by gentle hills. From their top you can enjoy the view all over the Chianti region without obstacles. Is really a charming panorama. The view is amazing in every season, especially in September, the grape harvest period.

In the Chianti wine area there isn’t any great city just small villages dating back to the Roman times or to the Middle Ages. The main ones are Radda, Castellina and Greve. Then we can visit Gaiole, Fonterutoli, Panzano and all the other small villages located along the “Chiantigiana”, a panoramic road linking Florence to Siena.

These towns are mostly dedicated to agriculture. Visit them allows you to enjoy the life rhythm of the Tuscan countryside: quiet and peaceful.
